Terms and conditions
§ 1 Scope
These terms apply to all orders and contracts between us and consumers via urne.store. We do not recognise conflicting terms unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
§ 1a Uploaded content (images, logos) and usage rights
If you upload or submit images, logos, or other content for personalisation (e.g. as a relief template), you warrant that you hold all necessary rights (in particular copyright, trade mark rights, and — for depictions of persons — rights to one's own image or consents from the persons shown). You grant us a simple, non-exclusive licence, limited in time and scope to performance of the contract, to store and technically process the content (e.g. conversion into 3D data) and to use it to manufacture and deliver the ordered urn.
You indemnify us against all third-party claims arising from infringement of third-party rights by content you submit — including reasonable legal defence costs, insofar as you are responsible for the infringement.
§ 2 Conclusion of contract
Product presentation on the website is a non-binding invitation to order. By completing checkout and paying via our payment provider, you make a binding offer. The contract is formed when we confirm the order by email or begin performance.
§ 3 Prices and payment
All prices are in EUR and include statutory VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe. Shipping and other costs are shown separately before you complete the order.
§ 4 Delivery
Delivery usually takes about 10–14 business days because each urn is made individually. Delivery is made to the address you provide.
§ 5 Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)
Withdrawal policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter or email). You may use the model form below; use is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice, using the same means of payment unless expressly agreed otherwise; we will not charge any fees for the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from when you communicate your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Exclusion / loss of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU; implemented in German law as § 312g(2)(1) BGB). Our urns are manufactured to your individual choices (e.g. engraving, relief from your image). By completing payment you confirm that you have been informed about the exclusion of withdrawal and that you expressly request that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period.
Where applicable, your right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance with your express consent and you acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal when the contract is fully performed by us.

Statutory warranty rights apply. Please contact us promptly using the details in the imprint if there is a defect.
§ 7 Retention of title
Goods remain our property until full payment of all claims arising from the order.
§ 8 Liability
We have unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are liable only for breach of material obligations, limited to foreseeable typical damage, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
§ 9 Online dispute resolution
The EU Commission provides an ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Our email address is listed in the imprint. We are not obliged nor willing to participate in consumer arbitration proceedings before a dispute resolution body.
§ 10 Final provisions
